KUTX 98.9 is the official location for Austin City Limits Music Festival student ticket sales on Saturday, September 14.
Event: All students with a valid ID may purchase Austin City Limits Music Festival tickets at KUTX. While you’re hanging out here, catch a sneak preview of some of the festival acts performing in KUTX Studio 1C, including Dana Falconberry and Bobby Jealousy. (If you can’t make it you’ll also hear them live on the radio that morning.)
Students may purchase up to four (4) three-day general admission tickets for each weekend (Oct. 4-6 and Oct. 11-13). Tickets are $200 each. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
When: 8 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 (line forms at 6 a.m. and numbered placeholders will be distributed)
Where: The KUT Public Media Studios (300 W. Dean Keeton) at the Belo Center for New Media on The University of Texas at Austin campus (northeast corner of Dean Keeton and Guadalupe). The University of Texas at Austin is a non-smoking campus.
Background: Since the inaugural Austin City Limits Music Festival kicked off in 2002, organizers have always reserved an allotment of discounted tickets for students. The 12-year-old Student Day tradition continues with presenting partner KUTX 98.9 upping the ante with music performances and free giveaways in their new location on the University of Texas campus.
