Your Austin Music Minute SXSW selections for Tuesday night, March 13th:

-Punk & rock showcase at Barracuda, 611 E. 7th St., including Los Angeles band The Tissues and from Leeds, The Wedding Present.

-Showcase at Central Presbyterian Church, 200 E. 8th St., including Calliope Musicals and Haunted Summer (“Sour Grapes” from Spirit Guides was featured on today’s AMM).

-Hip-hop/rap showcase at Karma Lounge, 105 E. 5th St., that includes Houston artist Q. Guyton, and Austin-based artists King Tucka and NOOK Turner.

British Music Embassy at Latitude 30, 512 San Jacinto Blvd., with London rap artist Che Lingo and Manchester band Pale Waves.

Empire Control Room, 606 E. 7th St., including Los Coast, Alesia Lani and mighty badass guitarist Jackie Venson.

-The Modern Outsider showcase at Cheer Up Charlie’s, 900 Red River, including Curtis Roush, Ume, Moving Panormas and Walker Lukens.
