Technically, you could say that Free Week should be more like, “Free Week Plus One.” Somehow, all the awesomeness is extended to an additional week, and that means you get to enjoy a lot of great live music performances with no cover at the door. Take advantage of it, and go support the bands.
Tonight’s selection is another biggie at Cheer Up Charlie’s, 900 Red River, with Lord Buffalo (the track “Axolotl” is featured on today’s Austin Music Minute), The Lonesome Heroes, Go Fever, Ooni, and Houston-based bands Children of Pop and JERK. The music kicks off just after 9 p.m., and you’ve got mild evening temperatures on your side. Go for it. Recommended.
