This weekend’s edition of the Austin Music Minute is all about the Sunday Funday action. Bring on Side Project Sundays.
Photographer Letitia Smith (White Light Exposure), and author Tiffany Harelik (Spellbound Publishing), created the Side Project event to highlight local up-and-coming artists developing new music outside of their established bands. So, more musical discovery to explore from your favorite ATX musicians within a different context equals awesome.
After premiering Season 1 of SPS in 2016 at Kebabalicious, Smith and Harelik are ready to kick off Season 3 tomorrow afternoon at its new location, Kitty Cohen’s, 2211 Webberville Rd. And starting out the season – Chase Weinacht and Josh Halpern (Marmalakes, The Hermits, Shearwater, TAFT).
The music begins tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. Go for it. Recommended.
