Philadelphia pop band Weller features singer/guitarist Harrison Nantz, who started Weller as a solo project about three years ago, and drummer Jeremy Berkin, who came on board after checking out some of Nantz’s early demos. They made their official debut with the EP Career Fair in 2016. This year’s self-titled LP holds up a powerful light to the unsteady pace of uncertainty with an examination of the far-reaching influences of one’s past experiences – the positive and the negative. Even something that occurred many years ago may still tread upon the soul and somehow tint today’s reality – and decision-making.
Weller’s current summer tour includes a show tomorrow night at Spider House Ballroom. This awesome bill includes local bands Lola Tried, A. Sinclair and Breathing Lessons. An abundance of rock and pop to swell the heart. Doors at 8 p.m. Don’t miss any of these bands, freak. Very recommended.
