What musical experience most set you on the path to a career in radio?
I would have to say being in band all throughout middle and high school. Great time and experience.
What’s your favorite Austin music experience so far?
Oh this is easy; getting to see Jay Z at the Frank Erwin Center in 2009. That was mind blowing and something I will never forget.
Why public rather than commercial radio?
To be honest I don’t have some grand answer. Confucius and I just figured this was the best outlet for us.
How do you spend your time when you’re not spinning records on the air?
I work… LOL. I’m so busy doing so much aside from working here at KUTX I have no time for anything else. I run two podcasts, working on my own website that I used to run a few years back.
