Formed in February 2013, Coattails have gained a pretty notable local audience as well as a regional following. They are a modern rock band that pulls from the late 60’s rock-n-roll pioneers, garage rock, and early delta blues. Their sound is aggressive with an interlacing of soft and spatial soundscapes. Since their debut self-titled LP was independently released in early 2016, they have been working tirelessly on another project titled Imaginary Friends. Coattails are set to release this second EP Nov. 9th, so mark your calendars! You can catch their release show tomorrow at Empire Control Room.
