Texas musician, John Wesley Coleman has his hands in just about every genre of music. From country, psychedelic, to punk, Coleman has established himself as musical chameleon. Coleman got his start in Irving, Texas where he began playing music at a young age. Forming his music around storytelling and surreal guitar playing Coleman builds a dynamic sound that feels equal parts garage rock and Americana.
John Wesley Coleman stopped by Studio 1A on Thursday and played some songs off his new record Greatest Hits. Coleman will be playing at SXSW at Hotel Vegas March 12th so get tickets while you can. You can also stream his music here, on KUTX.
