Jamie Wellwarth is a sound engineer who has his hands on a lot of different faders in the Austin music scene. He’s the production manager for the Continental Club and C-Boy’s, senior engineer for Nomad, live mixer for the Austin Music Awards show and South By San Jose, and a respected touring engineer who’s worked with Jane’s Addiction and Fitz & the Tantrums. And this week on My KUTX, he’s our guest DJ. Wellwarth plays an hour of favorites that have perked his ears across the years, everything from jazz and rap to punk and psychedelia.
