My KUTX: Molly Burch

Molly Burch is the KUTX Artist of the Month for February

Austin’s Molly Burch makes music with an old soul. Her debut album, Please Be Mine, is full of swooning songs that pull from classic pop, jazz, and country, reaching back to older torch bearers like Ella Fitzgerald and Patsy Cline for inspiration. Ahead of her album release show at the Mohawk, Burch curates her own hour of music as our guest DJ. Unsurprisingly, it’s a dreamy concoction, best-served with the lights turned low. Tune in on Saturday, February 18 at 6 p.m. or listen anytime at the bottom of the page.
