My KUTX: Noel McKay

Noel McKay knows a thing or two about Texas music. He’s a local singer-songwriter who tours all over the world with his songwriting partner Brennen Leigh. He’s a longtime friend of Guy Clark, who discovered McKay in Kerrville in 1993. He’s also lived all over the state, from Corpus Christi to Bandera to Lubbock to Austin. His grandfather started the first country radio station in South Texas, and fittingly enough, McKay is total natural on My KUTX. His guest DJ episode features a lot of Texas-centric music with a few memorable detours. Tune into Noel McKay’s hour-long mix anytime below the playlist.
