Austin’s Will Courtney spent a few years building a home studio to record his latest album, this year’s Crazy Love. But the funny thing is, the record sounds more like it was recorded in a rowdy bar than in the company of couches and rugs. Courtney’s country rock is fried on the edges and filled with heart, in step with his musical heroes but offering something else to the conversation.
