If you’re a longtime listener of KUTX, that means you’re most likely already familiar with Austin 10-piece afrobeat outfit Hard Proof. And since we’ve written so much about Hard Proof, we won’t go over the basics with them other than the fact that they’ve been performing left-and-right across town since the release of their full-length album Stinger earlier this year.
This insanely talented local instrumental outfit is about to gain another notch on their afrobeat belt with a spot opening for world-renowned trip-hop genre-blenders Thievery Corporation this Saturday at Stubb’s.
