Haroula Rose: “Moon And Waves”

Haroula Rose is a film writer, producer, and director, but one foot has always stayed in music. Her own work has been featured in movies and TV shows, and on March 25, Rose releases her second album, Here The Blue River.

For the new songs, Rose draws from a third art form, citing books by Ralph Waldo Emerson, Pablo Neruda, and Bonnie Jo Campbell as influences on the record. Fittingly, “Moon And Waves” is a visual listen. It’s built around Rose’s quietly confident voice and a percussive blend of folk and pop. Listen to the song below.
