My KUTX: Abhi The Nomad

Abhi The Nomad was born in Madras, India and lived in China, California, and France before winding up in Austin. His album Marbled caught our ears a few years ago with its sleek production and intricate flow, rapping about recklessness and restlessness in equal measure. This week, Abhi releases his highly-anticipated follow-up, Modern Trash, and kicks off a national tour with a set at ACL Fest on Saturday, October 12 at 12:45 p.m. He’s also our guest DJ on My KUTX, digging into Beck’s absurdity, Queens Of The Stone Age’s riffs, Black Star’s storytelling, and more. Hear Abhi The Nomad’s My KUTX on Saturday, October 5 at 6 p.m. or listen at any time in the player below.
