Ain’t No Stoppin’

Just so you know what you’re getting yourself into, the Austin Music Minute humbly offers the following description:

(in dramatic Don LaFontaine voice) In a world…where bluegrass morphs into lightning-fueled, raucous trashgrass Americana for punk rock souls;

…where you lose yourself in sweet, sweet harmonies, only to feel your adrenaline kick into high gear with finger-picking at breakneck speeds;

…you buckle up and brace yourself for the rough-n-tumble joyride that is…Whiskey Shivers.

Yes, the AMM emphatically stands by this statement: This band is crazy, and the fans…even crazier. Join Whiskey Shivers for their first show in Austin since returning from their tour, happening this Saturday night at The Parish, 214 E. 6th St. They share the bill with Arkansas’ wild and woolly bluegrass hillbilly-punks, Mountain Sprout. Doors at 9 p.m., music starts at 10 p.m. So recommended.
