Songwriter Daisy O’Connor lives in light. Music is the light that woke her up from a stagnant day-job slump, the shot in the arm that reminded her she needed to be doing what she loved, which, of course, is making music. That’s the living energy of O’Connor’s debut album Lightchasers, following that passion and never looking back.
O’Connor takes over a residency show this week with a show tonight at The Saxon Pub, 1320 S. Lamar Blvd., at 8 p.m. Then, as if she wasn’t busy enough, she’ll head over for a solo set at 10 p.m. at Hole In the Wall, 2538 Guadalupe. Not only one, but two opportunities to see O’Connor perform this evening. Recommended.
