You’ve heard the Austin Music Minute brag about these ladies before, and rightly so. Wednesday night, they’ll be taking over the stage at The Blackheart for a superior version of “ladies’ night” – when props are given to women in the local music scene. Here’s the ladies’ night line-up:
– Give a listen to X-Town by Elsa Cross and you’ll appreciate the fiery rock and alt.-country spirt that fuels it throughout, with intriguing touches of darkness and fierceness in a Nick Cave vein.
– It’s the perfect mix of brass, sass, vulnerability and no-nonsense with songwriter Beth Lee. Rock, ballads, and everything in between.
– Taylor & The Wild Now, fronted by Taylor Baker, let their acoustic roots run wild.
