Who: This is the kind of badass band that takes all the cool parts of indie, folk and Americana and runs absolutely wild with them all in a high-energy spree. The Gents could easily name-drop influences like Paul Westerberg and Old Crow Medicine Show in the same breath, and it all makes sense as soon as you hear them play. And it surely doesn’t hurt that The Gents’ harmonies are tighter than tight and will leave you weak in the knees.
What: Looks as though The Gents are all about a Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers soiree this evening – it sounds like a great time, after all – and you are invited.
