Who: Local dark psych-rock trio (and Austin Music Minute fave) Think No Think seems to be on the verge of releasing their much-anticipated full-length, Silent City, but no word yet on an official date. However, there’s a preview of the awesomeness to come on today’s AMM with the searing heavyweight “Strange Truth.” More killer, no filler.
What: It just so happens that today is front man John Dowey‘s birthday. And what goes great with birthdays? Loud rock at a great show, dude, with Think No Think at the helm.
When and where: See Think No Think tonight at The Sidewinder, 715 Red River, with special guests John Wesley Coleman, B’rocko Bombers, and Stay Level. Very recommended. Make sure you wish Dowey a happy birthday.
