All eyes were on Zach Person during his stint on American Idol five years ago, and since then, the Austin-based artist (by way of hometown Houston) has not slowed down one iota. After joining Black Denim Records and adding drummer Jake Wyble to the mix, and releasing a self-titled EP in March, Person continues the upward trajectory with a blazing bluesmanship. He writes from a soul revering Delta rawness and contemporary grooves.
