It’s another Austin Music Minute favorite, one appealing to your AMM maven’s personal tastes on the darker side of the spectrum. Darkbird prefers, however, to avoid the genre box and go straight for the rock jugular, fueled by a potent, unflinching intensity that ignites the entire room.
Tomorrow night is something you won’t want to miss. Penny Loafer will present Darkbird in a stripped-down performance at COLLiDE, 1802 E. 6th St. Don’t be deceived by the low-key vibes, though; you’re in for another electrifying show, with songwriter/vocalist Kelly Barnes at the helm. So very recommended.
