Twice the power. Twice the movement. Twice the awesomeness. Tonight’s stellar line-up at 3Ten features Austin-based hip-hop duo and two-time Austin Music Awards‘ Band of the Year winner Riders Against the Storm (RAS), and Queens, NY alternative hip-hop groovers Oxymorrons.
Back in Austin following a handful of tour dates, RAS are preparing for their huge RAS Day celebration, officially recognized by the City of Austin on August 27th, with very special guests SUN RA Arkestra. RAS’ current tour includes shows tomorrow at Dan’s Silverleaf in Denton, and Thursday at Paper Tiger in San Antonio.
Oxymorrons (with two r’s, thank you) are poised to release a new project, Complex But Basic, this year. The band’s high-energy, genre-bending hip-hop produces mind-blowing, electrifying live performances.
You have two great bands under one roof tonight – and that roof’s about to be blown off. The party’s at 3Ten at ACL Live, 310 Willie Nelson Blvd. Doors open at 8 p.m. This one comes very recommended.
