The AMM brings word of two fiery performances coming up this Saturday night, June 26, at The Continental Club, 1315 S. Congress Ave.:
-Dallas-born artist Harry Edohoukwa made his SXSW debut in 2018 at a showcase presented by The Breaks. Unsurprisingly, the following year, he was the showcase headliner. The extraordinary Fire On the Mountain (2019) reveals a soul immersed in self-discovery, desperate for the truth. Edohoukwa starts out the night at 10:30 p.m.
-The psychedelic funk and soul flow of Time Undone (2017) is borne of a myriad of influences in Kalu James‘ sonic artistry. His voice is the solid foundation. And, as made clear in the moving single “Downfall,” love is the ultimate message. Kalu and The Electric Joint hit the stage at midnight.
