Who: Time to rock out. And The Bluebonnets do exactly that with a mix of fab glam, fierce garage-rock and doing exactly what their album title suggests, plain and simple: Play Loud. Eardrum annihilation couldn’t be sweeter. Little surprise this band rocks so hard, given the badasses in the line-up – guitarists Kathy Valentine and Eve Monsees, bassist Dominique Davalos, and drummer Kristy McInnis.
What: Here’s the perfect way to kick off your July 4th weekend – The Bluebonnets rip and shred tonight at Stubb’s indoor venue.
When and where: 801 Red River. Doors open at 8 p.m., and starting out the night is electro rock-pop outfit Cautiontape, followed by songwriter Amy Edwards. Good times, good times. Recommended.
