Faded Photos

From the moment Graham Weber moved to Austin from Ohio a little over 10 years ago, he’s consistently proven himself a standout songwriter. He received rave reviews for Women (2011) from stations across the country and went on tour in support of the album. Then Weber took a momentary break from acoustic performances to rock out with his band So Long, Problems, and release Ashes In The Rearview. Still, his solo material was always close at hand – and heart.

Weber teamed up with Randy Reynolds (Leatherbag) for his next solo project, another stunner titled Faded Photos with string arrangements by Peter Stopschinski (Groupo Fantasma, Golden Hornet Project) and with producer/engineer Adam Hilton (Linen Closet) at the helm at Shine Studios. Once again, Weber captures the beauty in vulnerability through stark portraits of heartache and intimacy.

Make your Monday night even better when you see Graham Weber perform tonight at Stay Gold, 1910 E. Cesar Chavez. Crick Austin and The Risers start out the evening, and there will be a special guest as well. Get there by 9 p.m. Recommended.
