Welcome to the awesome music overload of Far Out Fest, starring ten awesome bands throughout the day at the Far Out Lounge and Stage in South Austin, 8504 S. Congress Ave. Doors open nice and early at 3:30 p.m., but it’s wise to get there as early as possible because this is a wicked huge line-up: CAPYAC, Trouble In the Streets, Mamalarky, Como Las Movies, Motenko, Max Frost, Madison McFerrin, Viben and the Submersibles, Clarence James, and Breathing Space.
Aluminum pole and the airing of grievances are optional. But definitely stay for all the music.
