Flash Those Baby Blues

Moving Panoramas‘ front woman and songwriting powerhouse Leslie Sisson has an undeniable penchant for penning swoon-worthy dream-pop that pierces straight through the ol’ cardiovascular muscle. You know; the one always getting you into trouble. Yet stubbornly, foolishly, we keep going back for more torture. Sisson totally gets it. The affairs of the heart are ruthless beasts, and Sisson reins them in to spin them into poetic introspection.

The hook-ridden “Baby Blues,” from their forthcoming album In Two, had its official release yesterday worldwide, a perfect preview to the new LP dropping this February. Check out the new music at Moving Panoramas’ performance tonight at the Oh Sees afterparty at Hotel Vegas on E. 6th. Also on the line-up are power-pop renegades Mean Jolene and, kicking off their tour, synthwave outfit TC Superstar.

Moving Panoramas starts things out at 11 p.m. Stay up late with the cool kids. Very recommended.
