It’s non-stop awesomeness for local music lovers with Free Week, when participating venues present a variety of shows for no cover at the door. The Austin Music Minute has duly noted that this year’s Free Week shows have quite a few killer line-ups chock full of badass Austin bands. Today, AMM puts the spotlight on Bleu French Laundry, the band and musical event promotional vehicle created in 2003 by my friend and colleague Jennifer Marchand. She’s been extra busy booking shows at The Sahara Lounge, and there’s a massive Free Week gig tonight that’s a must-see. Check it: Watch Out For Rockets, Rescue Mission, Dirtlegs (featuring members of The Sideshow Tragedy and T-Bird and The Breaks), After Hours and Flemish Giant.
