Fresh Linen

Linen Closet emerged from the mind of composer and musician Adam Hilton. Austin has been his home for a little over 13 years now, and throughout that time he’s continuously pushed himself toward greater creative depths, resulting in a consistently gorgeous catalogue of music. These songs span from times working on his own, onward through collaborations with composer and Church of the Friendly Ghost director Henna Chou, to Linen Closet’s current outstanding line-up, which includes Chou, Andrew Stevens (Lomelda, Hovvdy, Alex Napping), Matthew Grusha (She, Sir), Aaron Castillo, and Dustin Withers (New Arrows).

Yesterday marked the release of Linen Closet’s self-titled LP, a vastly orchestral and theatrical pop creation built upon a collection of tracks left over from the band’s 2011 EP. Tonight, experience the magic at their album release show at Central Presbyterian Church, 200 E. 8th St.. The bill features performances by Marmalakes, and David Israel & The Stars of David Israel.

Doors open early at 7:30 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. Don’t miss a single second. Recommended.
