Longtime Austin Music Minute fave White Ghost Shivers is not your ordinary old-timey jazz/vaudeville/ragtime/western swing/hillbilly band. Plus…the word “ordinary” shouldn’t even be in the picture, so scratch that. What we have here is an outrageously talented ensemble delivering all of these things and so much more, with the panache and swagger of a rock ‘n’ roll band that knows how to melt your face off.
So, here’s the deal: Head out to see the notorious WGS tonight at The Saxon Pub, 1320 S. Lamar Blvd. Showtime is 9 p.m. Raise a glass and get rambunctious, freaks. This one comes very recommended.
