The time has come for Holy Mountain, a venue at 617 E. 7th St. that’s seen a lot of phenomenal talent ignite its stage, to close down. Manager James Taylor is eternally grateful for all the support and love he and his crew have received over the last three years, but it’s time to move on. And a proper goodbye, in this case, deserves a proper send-off – one that will blow the roof off the place.
Holy Mountain presents The Final Weekend, the venue’s last three days chock full of incredible local bands giving the last hurrah before permanent closing time. You can pay your respects tonight, tomorrow night or Sunday night, or be there for all three nights. Either way, it’s going to be one hell of a goodbye:
Tonight, 8 p.m.: Hard Proof, Magna Carda, Major Major Major, Chipper Jones, and Mobley
Tomorrow, 8 p.m.: Eagle Claw, Not In the Face, Feral Future, Tia Carrera, and Destroyer of Light
Sunday, 8 p.m.: Mike & The Moonpies, East Cameron Folkcore, Harvest Thieves, and Ben Ballinger
What a way to go.
Thank you, Holy Mountain, for all the fantastic shows and incredible experiences.
