Dream-psych duo Night Glitter may be a new name in the local scene, but the talent behind the music has a couple of familiar faces and voices: LouLou Ghelichkhani from Thievery Corporation, and songwriter and vocalist for Bone Fur and Feathers; and John Michael Schoepf, one of the badasses who plays with rock outfit The Happen-Ins. Ghelichkhani and Schoepf began their collaboration last year, and will have their debut album ready for a spring release. (The track “Hangin’ On A Dream” is featured on today’s Austin Music Minute.)
Night Glitter continues their weekly residency tonight at Stay Gold, 1910 E. Cesar Chavez, featuring sets by Jonas Wilson (The Midnight Stroll) and Altamesa. The music starts at 10 p.m. Very recommended.
