Jaeger

A tip of the hat to the tall gentleman whose music you heard on today’s Austin Music Minute, as well as a thousand apologies. Keep in mind that when you utter the name Jacob Alan Jaeger, the “J” on the surname is a hard J. Like a hard whiskey. Dig?

All pronunciations aside, Jaeger is one of six Austin artists selected to be a part of this year’s Project ATX6 group. The gang recently returned from Vietnam, although Jaeger went on with fellow Project ATX6-er Carrie Fussell to some additional performance dates in Tokyo. The group soon sets out again for performances at Folk Alliance International in Montreal.

All the while, Jaeger’s been busy prepping new songs for release, including “Agony, TX,” featured on today’s AMM. You’ll hear the new music at Jaeger’s Thursday night residency show tomorrow night at The Swan Dive, 615 Red River. Marijuana Sweet Tooth shares the bill.

The music kicks off tomorrow at 10 p.m. So recommended.
