Jingle Bell Rock

‘Tis the season to be jolly! But it seems as if the party Krampus is taking over this particular holiday shindig. Welcome to the LATE ‘N’ LOUD Holiday Dance Party, brought to you by the proud purveyors of magnificent orchestral adventures (and a definite Austin Music Minute love), The Invincible Czars. Huzzah!

Surely you’ve experienced all the magic that is the Czars, from their spectacular Fourth of July celebrations with their brilliant interpretation of the 1812 Overture, or their mind-blowing performance of Iron Maiden‘s Number of the Beast album at their Halloween shows, or perhaps you’ve had the opportunity to see the Czars perform original scores for silent films at Alamo Drafthouse. It’s everything you could ever hope for and more.

Around this time of year, the Czars present high-energy performances of holiday music, including pieces from The Nutcracker, for various family-friendly shows. Perfect for the kiddoes, but do take note that the Czars always include something special for grownups, like the LATE ‘N’ LOUD party, filled with every sort of Yuletide musical goodies, both naughty and nice.

A good time will be had by all. Join The Invincible Czars for this seasonal soiree this Friday night at Holy Mountain, 617 E. 7th St. Doors open at 9 p.m., and the bill features a set by master dance-rockers Pong!. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes, or, at the very least, your most hideous holiday sweater. Prepare to dance your boots off, and leave some room under the mistletoe. So very recommended. Deck them halls, baby.
