Keeled Scales Series

Tres Oui and Literature bassist Seth Whaland and Real Live Tigers founder Tony Presley created local music label Keeled Scales a little over two years ago, starting out as an all-vinyl label before recently adding cassette tapes to their roster. They’re currently based in Track House, which also acts as a venue for hosting a variety of local and touring performances. Tonight is the perfect opportunity to catch one of those shows, the latest installment in the Keeled Scales music series.

Doors open at 8:30 p.m., and the evening starts out with an acoustic set at 9:15 p.m. by recent Santa Fe transplants Flyin’ Hot Saucers, who have just recorded a new EP at Good Danny’s studio, followed by Tucson-based artist Karima Walker at 10 p.m., then Austin artist TAFT (featured on today’s Austin Music Minute), who will share new music from a forthcoming release, TDNP.

A night of fantastic music. Track House is located at 5200 Clarkson Ave. Recommended.
