Leticia Rodriguez‘ first album, La Americana (2012), is a lovely introduction to the warmth, timelessness and vitality of her voice. The album, a tribute to her late aunt, international star Eva Garza, received accolades across the country and internationally.
Last year, Rodriguez was the first American artist invited to perform at the XXI International Festival de Las Romerias de Mayo in Holguin, Cuba, and was also given a Distinguished Music Award for her contributions to Texas music at the Texas Music Museum.
This Tuesday night, you have the opportunity to see Leticia Rodriguez perform at the Sun Sets summer music series at Spider House, 2906 Fruth St. It’s an early show that starts at 7 p.m. An absolute must-see. Recommended.
