“when my eyes are in my lids / i dream of hell,” intones Chris Lopez from the warped and warbled beginnings of “Hell Rises.” The single is from Lopez’s multi-layered project Lizzie Page, an experimental sonic incarnation described by Lopez as “queer, Chicano, bipolar music.” Lizzie Page’s discography includes solo albums and Lopez’s collaborations with Rip Levesque, Marcos Rocha and Abraham Rodriguez.
