Love Austin Music: A. Sinclair

Representing Austin music is a given for your humble Austin Music Minute geek, but KUTX is proud to work together with the Austin Music Foundation and the City of Austin Music and Entertainment Division to help spread the love during Love Austin Music Month. All throughout February, we put the spotlight on badass local bands that you need to check out. Capiche?

Today’s AMM selection is A. Sinclair, the ultra-mega talented band of brothers from other mothers fronted by songwriter/vocalist Aaron Sinclair, who’s been rockin’ impressive tracks since the days of previous band (moniker) Frank Smith and before (still obsessed with “Monsters” from Before You Were Born…). A. Sinclair is on the bill for a big show tonight on the indoor stage at the Mohawk, 912 Red River, featuring songwriter Stephanie Hunt’s musical venture Buffalo Hunt, and Jeremy Quentin‘s Austin-based alt.-country project Small Houses.

So very good. Get there early to see all three bands. Recommended.
