This is how you can vastly improve your Monday. Make your way to The Volstead, 1501 E. 6th St., for the Me Mer Mo Monday music series, presented by Self Sabotage Records. Doors open at 6 p.m., with DJ Mental Hellth kicking the evening off at 6:30 p.m.
Then, starting at 7 p.m., you’ll be treated to performances by Cedric Theys, Pocket Sounds (featured on today’s Austin Music Minute), Alex Cunningham & Dane Rousay, Alex Keller, and Mt. Borracho finishing the night at 11 p.m. DJ Progscott spins between sets, starting at 9:30 p.m. And EYEON makes the experience complete with awesome visuals throughout.
All about musical discovery. This is a great series. Recommended.
