Who: Austin-based quartet III Bones‘ dreamy watercolor shoegaze and lo-fi pop is charged with a lot of soul, thanks in large part to the vocals Victoria de Benedicty. Take a moment to soak in their groovy single “Hold On To Ya” (featured on today’s Austin Music Minute).
What: It’s a grand summer for residency shows, and III Bones has one this month at the Historic Scoot Inn, 1308 E. 4th St. at Navasota.
When and where: You can see them play there Monday nights throughout July. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the music starts at 9 p.m. Tonight, they share the bill with slow-swaying gothic country outfit Marijuana Sweet Tooth. Excellent line-up. Recommended.
