Off To A Great Start

Little did songwriter William Harries Graham know that his SXSW would start out with a bang this year. He and his band The Painted Redstarts began their SX with a gig at The Continental Club, which is where reps from Blue Rose Records caught his performance. Apparently, Graham was the first artist to be signed during this year’s festival.

The Austin Music Minute sends hearty congratulations to Graham and crew, and recommends catching The Painted Redstarts at their residency show tonight at 9:30 p.m. at The Continental Club, 1315 S. Congress Ave. No doubt that Jon Dee Graham is one proud papa over the good news, and it just so happens you can see Jon Dee following the Painted Redstarts at 10:15 p.m.. Then dynamic blues-rock duo The Sideshow Tragedy round out the night perfectly at midnight.

An all-killer line-up. Very recommended.
