It’s a new name and new music for the former Gold Beach. Songwriter Michael Winningham‘s musical project morphed into Palo Duro during what would have been Gold Beach’s final recording sessions. The new single “Darken the Glow” was featured on today’s KUTX Song of the Day (and is on today’s Austin Music Minute).
Expect more new music from Palo Duro released on Danger Mouse‘s new label, 30th Century Records. Meanwhile, they’re having their single release show tonight at The Sidewinder, 715 Red River. An absolute killer line-up with Marmalakes and Star Parks. Doors open at 9 p.m. Very recommended.
