Perfect Space

You may have heard the Austin Music Minute heap praises on this art and music space before. Studium, located next door to Brew & Brew on E. 5th at San Marcos St., is a fantastic spot featuring vinyl and CDs by Punctum Records artists, publications by Punctum Books, vintage and handmade items from Byron and Blue, and an ever-growing number of live music shows that work perfectly in an intimate setting. Artists like Aisha Burns and Molly Burch, Devin James Fry, Adam Torres, The Loblolly Boy, Molybden and Longriver, and Sara Houser (Löwin), have graced Studium’s corner stage for some incredible performances.

There’s an opportunity for you to experience this magic tonight with a show featuring folk-rock outfit Carry Illinois (featured on today’s AMM) and songwriter Anthony Da Costa. Fantastic bill at a great little spot. It’s an early show that starts at 7 p.m. Get there early. Very recommended.
