Who: The Austin Music Minute has mad, mad love for this lovely rag-tag bunch of gypsy-spirit music-makers. Wild Child remains wild at heart, and their music is so contagious that it’s not uncommon for audiences of thousands to be singing along in no time. The Runaround is another superb collection of melodic grooves that sweeps you away on waves of love and heartbreak.
What: The gang is about to head out to Europe and, no doubt, win over more swooning fans with those irresistible harmonies. Send them off in style at their European Tour Kick-Off shindig.
When: Gather tonight for the fun. Doors at 7:30 p.m., and the music begins at 8:30 p.m. Rounding out the evening are Sip Sip and Girl Pilot.
Where: The Historic Scoot Inn, 1308 E. 4th St.
Why: It’ll be awhile before you get to see Wild Child again. They’ll be gone for the rest of this month and all of November. After a break in December, they’re back on the road at the end of January. Don’t miss out. Recommended, with big ol’ hugs.
