This is the ultimate love language right here. Mix an abundance of harmonies, anthemic choruses and equally anthemic guitar solos, and the perfect amount of glorious angst, and you have The Living End, the second album from Sarah and The Sundays. The Austin-based band, by way of Connecticut, has also created something quite cathartic, an entire range of emotions unleashed after being cooped up together in the same house within the past couple of years. From the lockdown came the ultimate release – and some deep reflection.
Before heading out on the road, Sarah and The Sundays has a show tonight, Monday Feb. 14, at Empire Control Room on E. 7th. Nineties-inspired sibling duo Olive Vox opens the show. Doors at 7 p.m., and the music starts at 8 p.m.
