Fans of Thievery Corporation may recognize the soulful, mystical tones of songwriter and vocalist LouLou Ghelichkhani, who first began working with the ESL duo around 1999. Ghelichkhani recently relocated to Austin to work on another musical project with Conrado Bokoles and Rob Pierangelli, the blissfully psychedelic nomadic mind-trip known as Bone Fur and Feathers. It’s a perfect match for Ghelichkhani to weave her desert-magic psych grooves.
Bone Fur and Feathers are joining soul-folk songwriter Dan Dyer this evening as part of Dyer’s April residency at Lambert’s, 401 W. 2nd St. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. for this all-acoustic show, and word is that both artists will feature some of their newest music. This is a must-see. Recommended.
