It’s another instant Austin Music Minute favorite. Lake of Fire recently released two new tracks as a preview of their forthcoming album, Crater. “Space Is Safe” (featured on today’s AMM) and “Julie” give a sneak peak into the Austin band’s sumptuous psychedelic soundscapes – Southwestern roots entwined with fuzzy shoegaze, classic French pop-inspired melodies and subtle touches of prog.
You have a date with Lake of Fire tonight at Hotel Vegas, 1501 E. 6th St. They share the bill with S.M. Wolf and The Hermits (formerly known as Upper Deck Pets). A great line-up all around. Doors at 9 p.m. So recommended.
