Spooky Times at the Hole

It’s the most – wonderful time – of the year! So sings your obnoxious Austin Music Minute maven when October rolls around and people get into the spirit of things. Of course, there were weekend parties a-plenty celebrating the bewitchingly beguiling Samhain, but it looks as though the party continues tonight at the Hole In the Wall, 2538 Guadalupe.

Welcome to the Hallow’s Eve bash, presented by doom/noise rock duo Screaming J, who share the spooky-good bill with Lansing, Michigan rockers The Devil’s Cut (featured on today’s AMM); self-desribed “hobo honky-tonker” Randall Conrad Olinger; and all the folk punk/weirdo blues you can handle provided by Conwaythewhale.

It’s going down tonight, starting around 8 p.m. or so. Costumes are strongly encouraged, so dress to impress the resident ghouls. Very recommended.
