That’s What For

Who: In 2007, songwriter Chaz Bundick began Toro Y Moi as a solo project, recording tracks in his bedroom. Since then, he’s gone from DIY artist to successfully touring band, and along the way he’s consistently shown different sides of his musical palette on each album. This time, we’re presented with What For?, a jaunt into a more ‘60s-influenced classic pop-rock direction, with a touch of psychedelic rock.

What: Toro Y Moi’s current tour is headed our way for a show at Emo’s.

When and where: Tomorrow night, 2015 E. Riverside Dr. Doors open at 8 p.m., and starting out the night is fellow South Carolina-based songwriter and Toro Y Moi collaborator, Keath Mead. Check them both out.
